About
Us
Area
Served
Located
in the beautiful
Puget Sound
region of the
Pacific
Northwest
, our farm
captures the beauty of a lush natural setting. A popular feeding site for
wildlife, such as bald eagles and blue heron, our herd of American buffalo, or
bison, complement the site.
What
Sets Us Apart
Our
approach to growing our products is holistic: using nature to provide the
balance. While this is an evolutionary process, in order to find the balance of
sustainability, we are forever experimenting with adding new products that will
complement or remedy another product. As an example, we have added range fed
chickens to help reduce flies and other parasites (that are harmful to bison but
harmless to chickens) rather than using chemical interventions. Our interest is
to find that balance of peace and harmony that nature provides while creating a
self-sustainable lifestyle for our personal satisfaction.
Because
we do not use chemicals, hormones, or antibiotics, you can be assured that there
are no harmful residues in the products we sell. The bison are 100% grass/grass
hay fed on the lush pastures of rainy
Western
Washington
with ample
mineral supplements from organic sources.
Our customers purchase shares of the animal/s so that a low stress custom
slaughter can be done on the farm for meat, or so that by being a share owner
they have a right to receive milk and eggs without being restricted by
regulations.
None of our products are genetically modified except that which occurs by the
natural process of evolution. All animals are bred naturally without the use of
artificial insemination.

Wobble

Born
prematurely in 1992 on our farm, Wobble is our Public Relations guy. He
is a loving and very gentle buffalo. His life is a miracle that was a
direct answer to a child's prayer. Keeping him reminds us of God's love
for children and how much God wants us to believe in His power..
