Founded in 1990 by Paul and Ruth, the farm started as a Bison farm that later evolved to become a multi-species pasture raised livestock and poultry operation. Home of Wobble, the Buffalo, born on our farm in 1992, and miraculously survived because of the direct answer to a child's faith filled prayer, Wobble served as the mascot on our farm for 27 years and died of natural causes in 2019.
We are ommitted to natural and organic methods, each species performs a function that reduces our use of machinery or other inputs in an effort to be self sustaining and in harmony with nature. The cows graze the lush pastures. The goats control blackberry bushes and brushy weeds the geese keep our lawn trimmed. The chickens eat bugs and fertilize the yard, and ducks keep slugs under control. The rabbits provide meat and fur with their ability for rapid reproduction. The ducks, geese and chickens provide abundant eggs and meat, and the goats provide meat, milk, and milk products (cheese, yogurt, soap, etc).
