not certified organic, we are in the process of developing a management plan
that qualifies us
to become certified. We are observing a commitment to use NO CHEMICALS, NO
HORMONES, NO ANTIBIOTICS on the
farm. Each animal is provided with abundant feed and artesian water from our own
well. Whenever available, certified organic feed is used.
Bison
are the same as American Buffalo. Their wild nature and intense will to survive
allows them to live and reproduce without any intervention on our part, except
to assure that they have access to ample feed and water. They are resistant to
many illnesses and have never been known to have cancer. Bison meat is naturally
lean without hidden fat. Tests have shown that it is leaner than skinless
chicken meat, so will meet any Heart Healthy diet requirements while filling
that craving for red meat. Special
